LEICA NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY: Shooting the SKINGRAFT 10TH ANNIVERSARY FASHION SHOW, LOS ANGELES
Taking the Leica M240, and Leica SL into for a romp with a GoPro Hero Session to see the 10th Anniversary Fashion Show for LA cult brand SKINGRAFT for Black & Grey magazine and Purple. I stand in line and show taking a few shots of random crowd coming in, see a few friends, and then the show itself as a slideshow (since the location is clandestine and "private"). What Jonny Cota, SKINGRAFT's designer mentions, this is not a typical fashion show. The brand has gone through many transformations, and now is getting back to it's roots in performance and art as well as bad ass ready-to-wear that actually makes a statement. As does it's "runway", where the models are a cross section of a hip culture that doesn't respond to fashion as only for the elite, and the recent tongue and cheek statement (on black caps), "Make America Goth Again."
More on the technical aspects and more from you in questions below.
